Milan Image Art fair was held for the first time, in Superstudio Piu, in via Tortona from the 13th to the 15th of May.

I ve never been in a photo fair that big and it was an interesting experiment as the basic idea was to have a personal exhibition in each booth. That means that all galleries were “limited” to exhibitit one artists work only. This way the visitors were less confused and have a better idea of the artists work.

Positive fact: It might have been more interesting and more accessible to the public than Mi Art which is the annual Milanese contemporary art fair (!)
Negative fact:  My personal opinion is that it was not very commercial but maybe we should be less judgemental because it was the first edittion of the fair ever.
