Documenta 14, Athens – Marina Fokidis Interview

Marina Fokidis, Curatorial Advisor for Documenta 14 and founding Director of South as a State of Mind magazine is maybe the first person that Adam Szymczyk, artistic director, spoke to when the idea of exporting the most important contemporary art exhibition out of Germany started to become reality. Documenta 14 is the first attempt of Germany after the World War II to “rebrand” the country promoting a positive national image in the world and it is taking place every 5 years in Kassel since 1955. This year the 14th edition will take place in 2 cities:

• Athens part: 8 April 2017 – 16 July 2017
• Kassel part: 10 June 2017 – 17 September 2017
